About Dr Danielle Chapman
Dr. Danielle Chapman brings over 25 years of veterinary experience to her in-home pet euthanasia practice serving the Austin metro area. Originally from Britain, she came to the United States to pursue her dream of becoming a veterinarian, earning her undergraduate degree with High Honors from the University of Michigan in 2000, followed by her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine with Honors from Michigan State University in 2002.
Throughout her career, Dr. Chapman has practiced in Los Angeles, London, and New York before settling in Austin. Since 2010, she has dedicated herself to in-home veterinary care, understanding that pets feel most comfortable in their familiar surroundings during difficult times.
"I became a veterinarian because of my love of animals," Dr. Chapman explains. "Since childhood, some of the people I have admired the most have been veterinarians due to their hard work, intelligence, integrity and compassion for people and animals."
Dr. Chapman believes that saying goodbye to a beloved pet should happen with dignity and peace. She provides in-home euthanasia services so pets can remain calm in familiar surroundings, family members can be present without the stress of a clinical environment, and the process can unfold without rushing.

Even after decades in practice, Dr. Chapman remains committed to her ongoing education, regularly attending conferences to stay current with veterinary advancements in end-of-life care and pain management.
When not providing care for pets and their families, Dr. Chapman lives in Austin with her husband, two children, and her own pets: Bella, a 15-year-old terrier mix who has traveled with her around the world, and Charlie, a gentle pittie mix. She maintains her balance through yoga, for which she is a certified instructor, hiking local trails, and playing pickleball.
"I understand that saying goodbye to your pet is one of the hardest moments you'll face," says Dr. Chapman. "My promise is to bring compassion, respect, and gentle care to your home during this difficult time."
